QSL Manager Database Support
SWISSLOG allows you to search for QSL managers in many local and internet QSL databases. All databases you have specified are searched and the result of all searches is displayed in a special window.
This section explains:
How and where you can search for a QSL manager and how the results are displayed
The search for a QSL manager can be started in different ways:
For the current call in the QSO Entry Window by pressing
the button in the QTH page
or
the Search QSL-Manager button in the QSL-Info page
For any call in the QSL-Manager window
Select View ¦ QSL-Manager from the main menu to open this window or press Ctrl-M
Enter the call into the field Callsign and press Enter
The picture below shows the QSL-Manager window with its most important functions.
The results are sorted by database:
Indicates that the results are from a local database
Indicates that the results are from an internet database
The button allows you to copy the selected QSL manager into the current QSO.
From the Main Menu select Options ¦ QSL-Manager Definitions
In the QSL-Manager Definition dialog you can now select all QSL-Manager databases which should be searched.
For the local databases you need to define the location of the database file. Use the Browse button(s) to find the folder where the file(s) are located.
For the internet database you can control the search order by putting the databases in the order you want. Use drag and drop to sort the databases
If your are behind a firewall configure the proxy. You network administrator can give you details about the proxy
