After running SWL for some minutes the older versions ( 16/04/2024 and 12/04/2024) telnet control windows showed server "connected" but there was no traffic. Only pressing the reconnect button started the traffic again and a lot of messages appeared.
Problem seems to be solved, make a try with the newest beta release.

Hi Miro,
I have examined carefully all the Telnet code. It's exactly the same since version 5.102 (year 2021). I use EA4URE-5 and after being connected the whole day I get 0 or maximum 1 reconnection. I have never had any issue and my connection is always on and receiving spots (even after an automatic reconnection, when any). So seems something related to the server side and depending the server used you get more or less reconnections. Change server to EA4URE-5 and try if you get reconnections. If you experience the same issue and you need to force a manual connect you will have to review your antivirus/firewall settings. Version 5.106a has exactly the same Telnet code as version 5.102 and latest version.
Reconnections are not bad but the contrary. That means that Swisslog reconnects automatically if connection is lost for some reason. Reconnect function performs a new connection (the same as if you press the Connect button).

Hi Jordi,
Seems that I found reason. I never before added omnirig 1 and 2 to firewall and antivirus exclusion and never before I didn't have so many reconnections. Today at morning I add omnirig to firewall/antivirus exclusions and since now I didn't have reconnection.
