Swisslog's Forum - Kenwood TS-890 Rig Control

Howdy !!

Latest version of Swisslog does not read frequency from my TS-890 using the Transceiver Interface MENU "Kenwood/Elecraft" setting - no matter what Com Port Options I select. It works if I select the OMNIRIG option.

I would prefer to keep things simple and not use OMNIRIG.

Please download and replace the SwisslV5.exe file by this one:

www.swisslogforwindows.com/Beta/SwisslV5.exe

Please test and let me know if it works now. I needed it to add this transceiver in the code (the ID for TS-890S).

Just as suggestion, I recommend to use OMNIRIG because you will be able to share CAT control with Swisslog along WSJT-X and other applications supporting OmniRig. If you use direct COM connection, you will have to use VSPE (a virtual serial port emulator) in order to share the COM port among several applications.
