Is it possible to add the SFI on the main screen like next to xcvr control or the Rotor info?

Hello Chuck,

You will find the current SFI value in the Propagation prediction function, which is the function related to propagation details.

I saw that Jordi, and thank you for the reminder. What I am proposing is all 3 numbers (SFI, A, K) on the main screen to be had at a glance. The A and K play a large part in how the bands are, and if you are like me, and have the propagation window made smaller, the SFI number is hidden. Just a thought...

There is the not small matter of coding it of course but I agree with Chuck. I run a 3rd party app that fixes to the Swisslog top bar and to have it incorporated instead would be of great benefit.

I could add the SFI value in the windows title, just after the "Registered to: xxxxx". I think this would be the best place. However I need to code to extract the A and K index. This way I could add all these values in the windows title all together. What do you think?

If it can be done, yes I imagine Swisslog users would like to see all four values.

I expect you know the sources but in case not that solar app gets them from:

A & K:  ftp://ftp.swpc.noaa.gov/pub/indices/DSD.txt
SF & SN: ftp://ftp.swpc.noaa.gov/pub/indices//DGD.txt

Thank you for the info. I read all values from https://services.swpc.noaa.gov/text/wwv.txt but SSN is not found here so these links will help me to extract SSN. I will work on it soon.
