Today I experienced a problem with the SwissLog. After strating I got this message:

Error-2001 (ie_BadId – Specified comport does’nt exist) on ComPort1 ! Communication link will be stopped.

After the messge the application just shut down and it was not possible to use it. I was having the 5101a version. I thought it was a bug and I upgraded to 5.103. 

I still have got the error message, but after clicking on X the message dissapes and I can use the application. However everytime I resume the Swisslog the message pops out.

Can you give me any advice how to resolve this issue?

Are you using ICOM as transceiver control? I have fixed some important bugs with ICOM. Please read this thread and use latest beta:
