Mode changes - dk3uw - 09-04-2025
I noted when swithing to FT8 with WsJT-X the mode changes but if I go back to cw,Cw is indicated next to the qRG but not in the mode field which stays at FT 8. I have to change that manually. Has someone an idea if that can be fixed ?

One thing to be careful of: when WSJTx or JTDX is deployed, a setting is changed. 'Do NOT set mode from TX' becomes checked and is set to on. Swisslog is taking the mode from the FT* software in other words. When changing mode to something else, be it CW or SSB, ensure that you first close WSJTx / JTDX so that this setting returns to an unchecked state i.e. set to off. Now, having closed the digital software, change mode and Swisslog will follow and set the mode properly.
