QSOs in FLDIGI are not saved - HB9TZU - 10-01-2026 Hello, Since reinstalling SWISSLOG, QSOs from FLDIGI have not been transferred to the log. The connection appears to be established, as indicated by the green dot next to the FLDIGI icon in the Swisslog QSO window. Right-clicking on a call sign in FLDIGI displays it correctly in both FLDIGI and the Swisslog QSO window. However, when I click 'Save' in FLDIGI, the fields in the Swisslog QSO window are deleted and the QSO is not saved in the logbook. I couldn't find anything in the Swisslog help section on the Digital Modes Interface. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks and 73 HB9TZU RE: QSOs in FLDIGI are not saved - EA3GCV - 11-01-2026 Hello, I'm not at home and I can't check this. But if QSO from FLDiGi is transferred to Swisslog that means that communication exists. When you press Save of course the Add QSO is cleared but are you really sure the QSO is not logged? You should check the New QSOs tab. I'm not using FLDiGI and I have not received any report regarding this. I don't think FLDIGI have changed the API to external programs in latest versions. I will test this when I get home tomorrow using latest version of FLDIGI. Also keeo in mind that both programs must be executed with the same administrative privileges. If you are running FLDIGI as administrator, Swisslog must be run as administrator. Every time you upgrade Swisslog the Run as administrator checkbox is lost so you have to restore this setting again. 73 RE: QSOs in FLDIGI are not saved - HB9TZU - 11-01-2026 Good evening Jordi, I regularly back up my hard drives. I have now restored the last backup from drive C, and logging QSOs on FLDigi is working as usual again. I have no idea why it didn't work as expected after I reinstalled Swisslog on Friday or Saturday. As I mentioned earlier, the calls were entered correctly in the log window, but when I saved them in FLDigi, they were not displayed in the Swisslog logbook or saved. However, as I said at the beginning, restoring a backup from drive C solved the problem. 73 de HB9TZU Chris RE: QSOs in FLDIGI are not saved - EA3GCV - 11-01-2026 Hi Chris, Glad you solved it!. A very weird thing. I have just tested with latest FLDIGI version and all work as expected and QSO is saved. A real mistery! 73 |
