Com ports with Micro Keyer II and Swisslog - JW6VDA - 14-02-2018 I would be grateful for any hints! 73 de Tom JW6VDA RE: Com ports with Micro Keyer II and Swisslog - EA3GCV - 14-02-2018 Hi Tom, Have you followed the schematic explained on page 29 of the Expert 1FK-FA operating manual? This schematic must be used to share the CAT connection of the Expert when controlling CAT from your PC. The TX TTL line from the Expert must be disconnected. Have you tried with another software if you have the same behaviour? It will get the radio frequency same as your COM 4. Let Swisslog interface with it which leaves the original CAT to the SPE amplifier intact and working as before. Erik. RE: Com ports with Micro Keyer II and Swisslog - OH3OJ - 17-02-2018 Hello, I have SPE controlled from MKII with CI-V port data available from back of MKII. Simple cable and no need for Y- cable type of solutions. FT-1000 is connected to MKII with normal cable set. When using CI-V data to SPE it does not matter which rig you use connected to MKII (in my case FT-1000 MK5 and IC-756 pro III for example) and SPE is always happy getting CI-V (Icom) data from MKII and following bands.
