Importing ADI file without file header - JW6VDA - 06-11-2018 It happens from time to time that my Swisslog doesn't log a qso properly when I'm using WSJT-X and JTAlert-X and the easiest way to handle it is just importing the lastqso.adi file from JTAlert-X. Swisslog for Windows won't import unless there is a file header, so I have to add a first line: <EOH> in the file. Laurie VK3AMA informs me this is not a compulsory ADIF specification, so this needs to be handled by Swisslog (Swisslog does get the same info as a UDP packet from JTAlert-X, an in 99 of 100 cases it works flawllessly). Can I wish for Swisslog to accept ADI import also adi-files without the file header? I have also noticed the same when using N1MM+, and will take a similar question to the N1MM+ team. 73 de Tom RE: Importing ADI file without file header - EA3GCV - 06-11-2018 Hi Tom, Your wish will come true in 5.98d ;-) Swisslog will import from any ADIF file regardless having a header or not. Best 73 RE: Importing ADI file without file header - JW6VDA - 07-11-2018 Thanks, Jordi. Good news! 73 de Tom |
