Why is the QSO registration window blocked (about 10 to 15 seconds)? Could it be because of the number of QSOs in the database?

Hi,
Have you enabled realtime logging? If you have enabled realtime logging this could probably be the cause. If you save QSOs in realtime in several online services, depending your internet connection and server load, this will delay the saving procedure. There is a timeout field for every onoine service (default 15 seconds). I save QSos in realtime in ClubLog and eQSL with no noticeable delay after pressing the Save QSO button. But if you save qso in all online services, depending if server load is high and takes some seconds to respond the "OK" that may affect performance saving QSO. You can reduce the timeout to avoid waiting too much time for every server in case of problems. Then every week or when you like use the upload logbook feature to upload QSOs that have not been previously saved in realtime.
Also very important to add an exception to Swisslog in your antivirus and firewall. Some antivirus tend to look out too much programs activity affecting performance. Please read this message regarding this:
