DX Messages window
Hi Jordi.

Today I changed the options on the DX Messages window by unchecking SSB and AM so that only CW spots would appear because of all the CQ WW SSB spots.  I left all other criteria the same including the spots lifetime at 180 minutes.  However, I noticed that the spots lifetime had reduced to about 6 minutes.  Even when I put SSB and AM back into the selected criteria the lifetime remains at about 6 minutes.  Also, changing the spots lifetime made no difference.  I closed Swisslog and the computer but still the same on re-opening them.

I don't know if this is an error or maybe I am doing something wrong but the lifetime is too short now. Using v 5.110

RE: DX Messages window
Hi Reg,

I can't reproduce this issue and I have not changed anything on this for years. In order the lifetime function works well the Windows local time and UTC setting must be set properly. Otherwise you may experience weird issues like this.

OK Jordi.

I didn't change anything about Windows local time and UTC setting. I only changed the selection criteria in the DX messgaes window. I will try again tomorrow when local time = UTC

RE: DX Messages window
Hi Jordi.

We are now on winter time so local time = UTC and Windows time = UTC.  MyQTH time difference is set to 0.  But still have the problem of spots disappearing after about 6 minutes.  I may need to try a re-install/new ini file.  Perhaps to make clearer - the spots > 6 minutes old disappear when a new spot arrives.  I tried different host, de-selecting some statistics so only dxcc and dxcc-lotw and also stand alone window but no difference.

Hi Reg,
Maybe the INIis corrupted somehow... Restore a copy of the SwisslV5.ini from your backups (if you have any). Or rename the ini to SwisslV5_old.ini and start Swisslog. Swisslog will create it from scratch,so you will have to setup everyrhing again. Try and see if now works.

Hi Jordi.

I have tried both an old backup and a new INI but still the same.  Perhaps tomorrow I will try a re-install as I can't think of anything further to try.

### UPDATE:  Today I switched on Swisslog and the DX Messages window spots seem to be OK.  First spot logged at 1136 and at 1150 it is still there with 75+ spots listed after it.

Very strange!
