RE: new on swiss lof looking some tips
Hi,
Here the answers:
1 and 3: You can export into ADIF manually (not automatically) in View / Logbook view (Selection), select the ADIF EXPort folder and select the ADIF v3 all standard fields view. The best, easiest and faster backup is to save the whole C:\Swisslog and its contents. This way you will save the Swisslog database and all configuration files. In case of troubles you only have to copy back the files and you will have Swisslog exactly as it was. Having the Swisslog database you can export into ADIF when necessary.
2: Swisslog uploads properly into HRDLOG. Check your upload code! The Upload code IS NOT the password to login HRDLOG but a 10 digit number. User name is your callsign. ON AIR feature works as well. I use it everyday for my own use. Request the Upload Code in case of doubt.
4 - Once you have setup Swisslog as you like go to Options / Save desktop, set a name and that's all. You can save as many desktops as you like. In case of troubles go to Options / Restore desktop and select the desktop setup you like to restore.
