Hello Roland,

If you have don't have a stable DSL connection probably this is the source of the issue. You can change the read timeout from Callbook databases in Options / CD-Callbook / Internet databases > Timeout (seconds). By default is 5 seconds. Try to set a lower value and let me know if this works for you.
