Hello,
The map position is based on the QTH locator. If no locator is defined then the country center is normally defined (this info is defined in the country table). If you are reading data from Callbook databases (such as QRZ) keep in mind that sometimes the QTH locator is not defined properly in the partner station profile and this is the reason of wrong position in World Map.
