ADIF Conversion failure

RE: ADIF Conversion failure
Yes - I am using the latest version.

Steps:

1) Open new database file and enter station ID, etc.
2) Select MENU - File | Import ADI | convert adi file
3) Select ADI file in dialog box - (either one from Log4OM or ADIMaster)
4) Select "continue" in the "Select Field Assignment Table) dialog box
5) Select "finish" in the "Import QSOs - Specifications for conversion" dialog box.
6) Select "OK" in the "Select Current Working Conditions" dialog box.

7) Cry when the error message pops up "File not found."
8) Pound desk when the error message changes to "Conversion Failed!"

Note - Possible work around is to

1) create a new database file.
2) enter one contact entry
3) export to an ADIF file with a unique name I choose
4) open the ADIF file made in the other, former log program in ADIF_Master
5) Save it - writing over the ADIF file I created in Step 3
6) Import the ADIF file made with ADIF_Master (which now has the name of the file created in Step 3)

That seems to work ... although I am not completely confident in the result.

Note - Although I read the user manual, I do not fully understand how the "field assignment" process works.

Question: Is there a diagnostic log I can send to you?

I hope this helps you understand my situation. THANK YOU - James - K8JHR -
