FTX-1
How can I integrate an FTX-1 into Swisslog?
I've tried all the Yaesu options, but none of them work.
I have no experience with other options like Omnirig.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

RE: FTX-1
Hello,

The FTX-1 uses the same schema as the FT-991. Select this in Swisslog and it should work.

Hi Jordi,

First of all, Merry Christmas and thanks for your reply.

I've tried all the variations with stop bits, parity, and baud rate. Nothing works. Either there's no display, or the frequency is ten times too high, and always with a missing operating mode.

Attached are a few pictures.

RE: FTX-1
Hi Ingo,

I have downloaded the CAT manual for the FTX-1 and they have changed the format of the IF command compared to other models. I don't know why Yaesu still changes the format of basic CAT commands on every transceiver. I will work on it and I will release a beta version supporting the FTX-1 transceiver as soon as possible, probably next week.

RE: FTX-1
Hi Jordi,

your efforts were successful. It now works with the FTX-1 in all functions, just like with all the other devices here in my shack.
These include an IC-7851, an IC-9700, an IC-7300, and now the FTX-1 and in the meantime also with a TS-890.

Incidentally, it's a great little radio that covers all bands from 1.8 to 430 MHz and can easily be connected to special operating modes.

Thank you so much for your tireless work and a happy new year 2026 and above all, good health.
