Importing a large ADIF: Now No QSOs Seen
I'm brand new with Swisslog, and so far impressed with the program. Trying to move in a log file from Rumlog via ADIF. I did see a few mapping errors along the way but hoped the most important fields would come in. So I skipped any mapping.  At the end of import I got an error message: Data Provider or other service returned an E Fail status and I couldn't see my QSOs in the log.

The bottom bar of the app window indicates that there are indeed 1035 Qs in the log, however I'm not seeing anything. And the E Fail message keeps popping up.

Corrupt database? Is there any way I can fix it? Or just start over.

Any help appreciated! 73 de Bill Alpert/ KG6NRV

RE: Importing a large ADIF: Now No QSOs Seen
Hi Bill,

Did you get this E-Fail error before importing? Send me your Swisslog database (file Swlog_v5.mdb located in C:\Swisslog) and the ADIF file to:

support@swisslogforwindows.com

Let me also know if I have to take care about any specific mapping for specific RumLog ADIF fields.I iwill do the importation here and I will let you know.

RE: Importing a large ADIF: Now No QSOs Seen
@Jordi, thank you for your kind reply.

I did not get the error before importing. In fact, I imported 2 smaller ADIF files from a POTA activation first without any issue.
The Rumlog NG file had mapping warnings but did seem to import. After the import is when the E-Fail error began.

I will send you via email the RumLog ADIF as well as the Swisslog database. I really don't need any of the extra fields to be mapped; just the basics of the QSO.
And thank you so very much for this kind offer of assistance.

Please let me know why the Error might have occurred; is it incorrect to import an ADIF without doing the mapping?
