Host not found in DMVE/NDG and error in EPC

Dear users,

The site to download the updated list of the DMVE Spanish award has changed and they have to provide me a new link to download the current full list of references. 

NDG (Natal Digital group) has changed the domain and they don't publish the member list in text format now but in PDF which can't be handled automatically in the Swisslog code.

I have contacted with them waiting for a solution.

Also trying to update the EPC member list causes a duplicate index error.

While waiting for a solution from DMVE and NDG managers and solving the EPC error message, you can replace the statistic file with the most updated file here (avoiding any warning message and the EPC error):

Unzip then overwrite the SWLSTAT.MDB file located in the Swisslog program folder.

I have received the new link to download the NDG member list. Please edit the SWISSLV5.INI file located in the Swisslog folder with any text editor (i.e.: Note Pad) and search for the key NDGUPDATE, then replace it by the following link:

NDGUpdate=http://www.ndg.qsl.br/imagens/lists/ndgno.txt

I'm still waiting to get a new link from them... Problem is that they have changed also the file format so I have to change the code. Please download the updated SWLSTAT file in the above link and replace it to avoid more warnings until I release a new version.

After contacting with the DMVE manager I have got the updated file which it will be temporally placed in the Swisslog server until they place a link in their official site.

Until the new link will be available and fixed in the new version, please edit the SWISSLV5.INI file with a text editor (i.e.: Notepad) and search the [URL-List] section. Replace the DMVEUpdate entry EXACTLY by this one:

DMVEUpdate=http://www.swisslogforwindows.com/files/NOMENCLATOR%20DMVE.zip

Do we have any news about DMVE download link? I have now notifications in my Swisslog about old files in award databases and I can't update my DMVE.

I have downloaded the file you said to us in the previous post but this database is very old and when I start my Swisslog I have again the notification about update. Can you help me?

Hi Luis,

In the message above your question is the current solution to download the latest DMVE file (you have to edit the SWISSLV5.IN file). I'm waiting to receive direct links for the official DMVE website but meantime this is the solution.

I have this line in my Swisslv5.ini file exactly as you say but I have the notification about my old file DMVE every time I start my Swisslog.

This is the line in my file: DMVEUpdate=http://www.swisslogforwindows.com/files/NOMENCLATOR%20DMVE.zip

Hi Luis,

I guess you have Swisslog installed in the Program Files folder, using Windows Vista or higher and without administrator rights, that's the reason Swisslog is asking to update all the time. This line is correct and if you force to update DMVE it must work. Please review that you are really running Swislsog with administrator rights if installed in Program Files. Keep in mind that if you did it before, after upgrading Windows, this setting is lost!
