Windows position
Hi, many SW windows can be easily dragged out of the main window of SwissLog, others with a command, many others are locked inside the main window and there is no way to take them out, is this normal? is it not possible to make all the windows free to be positioned where one wants?

Thanks Fabrizio

RE: Windows position
Hi,

Not all windows allow to be placed as standalone. Below you will find the explanation in the Swisslog help (Other Features - Dual monitor systems).

Dual monitor systems

Usually the windows can not be moved out of the mainframe of SWISSLOG. However Swisslog allows to set the following windows as standalone:

Add QSO

Band Maps

Dx messages

K1EL WinKeyer

Logbook views

Register QSL cards

World Map

Select "Standalone Window from the popup menu or the Functions main menu. If this option is enabled then the window can be moved anywhere. This is especially useful for PCs with two monitors! By default standalone windows will stay on top all other windows from other programs all the time (option Always On Top" in the Popup menu or the Functions main menu). Warning: If this option is unchecked, window can be hidden behind the main SWISSLOG window or even placed outside of the visible space. If you place it outside of the visible space (i.e. when you change the screen resolution) you can only bring it back by editing the SWISSLOG.INI file.
