Form of Date on Labels/QSLs
I installed swisslog in German.  If I print labels or QSL the date is written like: 31.Mrz.2019
If I switch the language to english, the date does not change to 31.Mar.2019
All the time I print labels I have this problem now for more than 20 years.
A date should be ever in an english or american form.
Jordi, Pse change label-language to english, also when I use the german version.
Some of the hams will not understand Mrz....
And dont tell me I should use 31.03.2019

RE: Form of Date on Labels/QSLs
Hello,

Most label / QSL reports are defined with the DATE field in the following format:

dd/mmm/yyyy

Using "mmm" for month takes the month abbreviation according your windows language, not the language selected in Swisslog. Please read the chapter "Logbook view - Formatting symbols - Used in Reports and Queries" to see a full list of symbols. This is the explanation for "mmm":

mmm Displays the month as an abbreviation (Jan-Dec) using the strings given by the ShortMonthNames system setting.

If you want to display months in English when printing labels or QSLs, simply change temporally your Regional settings in Windows to English, print your labels and/or QSL cards then change this setting back again to Germany.
