Hello Erich,
This is not a problem of the Swisslog version. I use latest version of Swisslog and MixW 3.2 but I have to run Swisslog and MixW as administrator otherwsie I get the same Violation error message. It's very important to add exceptions to Swisslog and MixW in your antivirus and firewall. Most tend to block the DDE communication between Swisslog and MixW. I have always used MixW (I have W10 64 bits) with no problems in any Swisslog version but:
- I run both programs with administrator rights
- Added exceptions in antivirus/firewall for BOTH programs as well. Also in any antimalware or similar program you use. These kinds of programs are a nightmare for many amateur radio programs (such Swisslog) and it's a must to add exceptions to avoid they block its regular functioning.
