Unfortunately the transfer rate is only 15-25 KB/s.
How i can improve this?

Are you trying to get 5.100e from within Swisslog itself? I find this is impossible as it is too slow. But if you download the install file direct from the download page it is quite quick.

If you have a high speed connection, downloading new versions from within Swisslog should work as similar speed rates as performed with a web browser. This could be a sympthom that Swisslog is interfered by your antiviris, firewall and or similar programs such antimalware.

I insist a lot to add exceptions to Swisslog in these programs. Unfortunately most tend to look out too much Swisslog activity, causing violation errors or slowing down general performance. All programs without a digital signature (like most free software) are marked as "dangerous" and overviewed in excess by most antivirus. Signing the Swisslog imstaller and program by a digital signature cost over 300€ per year. Swisslog is free and the solution is as simple as adding excepctions on these programs. It's all a business nowadays but it's the real truth.

I am using Windows 10 pro. 
Provider: Telekom  Connection: 50MB
Router: Fritz!Box 7490  
Well, i tried to get the swisslog update directly from the download page.
But the download time was too long,  approx. 1h30min!
After your advice i switched off the user account control and the windows defender firewall.
Then the 5.100e could be downloaded in 22 minutes!

Hello Hardy,

If you have a 50MB internet connection and it takes 22m to download 100Mb then it's a proof you have a problem either in your line or your computer (I guess your computer because after deactivating UAC download time decreased 1 hour!). 50Mbits means about 6-7¬Mbytes per second of speed rate. Swisslog size is 130Mbytes so in about 20 seconds Swisslog should be downloaded with your connection. More than 1 minute means that you have a problem. Try another computer to test what I'm saying and perform a speed line test. But I can download Swisslog  in about 10 seconds with my 100Mbytes line which is within the average speed for my line.

I suggest you to perform a fresh W10 installation by formatting your hard disk because it's not running as it should be.

i am sorry, but it is the same problem with me. Downloadspeed is not more as 50 KB/s.
Using also Win 10 Prof. and a internetspeed with 250 MBits/s. Provider ist Deutsche Telekom.
Checking with Firefox, Edge and Chrome.
Ping to your server is 39 ms
With my fresh WIN 7 System it is the same.
And also not faster on my Smartphone with Telekom phone Network (no WIFI)

I don´t know why it ist so slow, but it is!

Hello all,

I have received similar reports but only from German users and all using Telekom provider. I will inform my provider. Telekom provider has something against Swisslog. Most e-mails sent to German users having this provider are usually rejected. And now you also have this problem. I will inform my provider on this matter. Maybe the swisslogforwindows domain is in a black list from Telekom or something because I never receive any similar issues from any other users around the world.

Of course it is as you say. It is a problem at Telekom.

I have now tested with 2 friends, one at Vodafone and the other at a local provider.

With both of them the download went through within a few seconds.
With me it took almost an hour.

Thank you very much! It's important you inform on this to Telekom because for some reason they apply some restricted rule to the swisslogforwindows domain. I will also inform my provider but I don't know if they can do something because it's obvious it's a Telekom issue.
