Is it possible to import an SWL ADIF-file into a QSO group (i.e QSL_label) ? I have an ADIF- file with 200 QSOs of my logbook which I need to import to a QSO group in order to add the QSL action (i.e. via buro). At the end the logbook view should show and tickmarked the QSL-action. Or is there any other alternative? i.e. how to add the QSL action to the ADIF-file? In this caase I could do the normal data import and overwrite the QSOs with the additional QSL-action. Any idea is highly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

Hello,
There is no way to import an ADIF file into a QSO Group. But there is another way to assign a specific QSL Action during the importation process. First of all you need to use latest beta because I found out that this procedure didn't work for ADIF Files. Simply overwrite the SwisslV5.exe file in the C:\Swisslog folder by this one:

Once you are using this beta, you have two ways to set the QSL Action in your imported QSOs:
- In the second screen during the importation process, press the CREATE button then select the QSL Conversion tab. Check the "Apply QSL rules" option. This way the QSL Action will be set according the rules you have selected in the QSL Rules. Read this if you don't know what I'm taliing about:

The second way is to set a specific QSL Action value. In such case you need to go to the same screen and DO NOT check the "Apply QSO rules" but:
1- Select QSL-Received or QSL-Sent in the "QSL-Action is based on" section. VERY IMPORTANT! in order this method works the QSL_SENT or QSL_RCVD fields must be found in the ADIF file. Otherwise a blank QSL Action will be set. It doesn't matter which field you select, most important is that the select file is found in the ADIF.
2- In the Import Value set N
3- Check NO in the "QSL received/sent" indicator
4- Enter the QSL Action you want to assign to these QSOs
5- Press the Insert button. This will add the conversion rule to the grid
Repeat the above process but in step 2 set Y and in step 3 check YES. Keep other steps exactly the same. Press Accept and the import procedure will continue. When the conversion is finished you will have set the select QSL Action to all your imported QSOs. At the end of the process you will be asked if you want to save the Field Assignment Table to a file (.FLD) for future use.
